WE LOVE TO PARTY
We create beautiful feasting tables, full service catering, and luxury private chef experiences. We love the art of celebrating with food.
We are inspired by our yearly travels around the world, and passion for simple home cooked recipes. Our knowledge of local and international recipes and products is always expanding to make our offerings better each year. We offer buffet, plated, family style, passed canapés, floral installations, and cocktail experiences for large events, as well as intimate private chef experiences.
EVENT DESIGN
We offer unique and colorful design for events of any size including corporate events, brand activation, galas, weddings, cocktail parties, or anything in between. We ensure that all the vendors for your event are taken care of and that everything is set up on time with our on site coordinator. For whatever design you are dreaming, we know the right vendors to work with to make it happen from over two decades in the industry. In addition to designing the decor for your event, we also can incorporate it into your main course, canapé, and feasting table spreads. We have designed tables that look like the French countryside, spooky Halloween scenes, edible landscapes with a train moving canapés, food sculptures and more! Let us know your vision.
FEASTING TABLES
Our signature offering. Once we decide on a design, the table is sketched out to ensure that the menu, look, and feel of your display matches your vision. We arrive four hours before service to ensure enough time to get set up, create your table, and take pictures and video before your guests arrive. Once the party starts, our staff will carve meats and cheeses, serve guests, refill items, and clean around your space until the party is over. At the end, we ensure that all of the leftover food is either packed up for you or donated. Our tables can be designed for a cocktail hour event with small bites and less food, or a full meal with huge roasts of meat, salmon, and other substantial proteins.
HOT FOOD STATIONS
Our food is inspired by our yearly travels around the world, focusing on regionally significant comfort food. We prepare everything freshly on site, with the same quality and attention to detail as a street food vendor. We rent grills, ovens, and cook on open fire or charcoal. Seen here is a slow cooked beef prime rib pita pocket with caramelized onions and BBQ sauce, and Choripán Chimichurri sausage sandwiches for Audi at the Greenwich Polo club.
PHILOSOPHY
It is our goal to constantly learn about food and culture to improve our services and to experiment with new ideas. Our ingredients are sustainably sourced using a personal network of local vendors, food artisans, and small businesses. Our vision is to create the most beautiful food experiences in the world, drawing historical inspiration from the visual arts, cultural knowledge, and legendary royal banquets. We aim to create a regal yet approachable experience for our guests, and to help our clients make celebrating easy and fun! We also take very good care of the people who work with us, as it is important that working for Edenopolis is as fun as being a guest at the party itself. We are all friends and enjoy our work! CHEF RICHARD
Growing up in NYC, Richard developed a love for multicultural cuisine working in the restaurant industry since he was seventeen. Meanwhile he attended the City College of NYC for a degree in philosophy, studied Yoga and the martial arts while cooking in ashrams, and started Edenopolis with his first client as a private chef in 2014. For the past sixteen years, he has traveled the world each year with his wife Eve to research food as a caterer, restaurant consultant, and private chef. Because of this, Edenopolis events offers a wide variety of cuisine from around the world. Richard's love for celebrations started with food, but then expanded outward to florals, decor, and design to satisfy his client's requests.
THE EDENOPOLIS TEAM
The core team at Edenopolis is a group of chefs who originally met through temp staffing agencies and restaurants working in NYC, became friends, and now collaborate together. However producing large events requires a large network of people working together with trust and respect.
